Russian History in Real Time - Part IV - Winners and Losers

Winners:

Tass, Pravda, & RT: For a brief time this afternoon, all 3 may have had their particular slants on the news, but all 3 were reporting events in real time. It was stunning to watch an insurrection in Russia....From Russia.

Yevgeny Prigozhin: Think of this as a baseball deal. Prigozhin was basically traded to Belarus for Cash. How much cash? If I was Prigozhin, what would be my price to abandon my army and give up my dream of running Russia?

Uh, no.

If I had 20,000 troops with me, my price would start at $200 million. Whatever his price was, it was obviously met.... or was it?

Telegram (Russian Twitter):

According to the SVR General Channel - They had the inside story (In Italics.)

1:30 AM Today

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! After a SERIES of unsuccessful attempts to implement the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin to finally "resolve the issue" with PMC Wagner and personally with Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the PMC openly called for a rebellion, demanding reprisals against Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. The President is indeed regularly reported on what is happening, BUT! Since yesterday evening, despite persuasion and even "urgent requests" from the leadership of the power bloc, the president has NOT MADE A SINGLE DECISION! The leadership behind the power bloc, headed by Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev, believes that Prigozhin's rebellion should be severely suppressed. Putin was given several options for the forceful neutralization of the rebels, but he refused to even discuss these options. Part of the orders on behalf of the president is given by Nikolai Patrushev, he also controls and coordinates the actions of the security forces and partly the leadership of the military bloc. The President has practically withdrawn himself from solving the current crisis. At night, from several influential people from the president's entourage, Patrushev received an offer to take full control over the government of the country into his own hands, but SOMEWHERE the Secretary of the Security Council refused the offer. Shoigu and Gerasimov are in contact with Patrushev and received verbal support from him. Patrushev during the meeting said that he considers the scenario of the seizure of power in Russia by Prigozhin impossible, according to the Secretary of the Security Council, the leadership of the PMC Wagner does not have the strength and means for this. After the report on the capture of Rostov under the control of PMC Wagner, Putin went to bed.

7:21 AM Today

Putin entrusted the morning recording of the president's address to the people to a double. He personally only agreed on the text. Putin himself tried to ask the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for a "reciprocal favor", but received a polite refusal. Lukashenka said that he was ready for anything, but later, and this is not a joke, he said in plain text that he would call and offer when it was time. Putin in Valdai. While Patrushev is in charge of the whole operation, the President is only informed.

7:21 AM Today

All, almost without exception, the president's friends are preparing routes for relocation together with their relatives and friends.

10:51 AM Today

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! The leadership of the power bloc, headed by Nikolai Patrushev, unanimously supported the initiative to destroy the Wagner PMC. We are talking about all current and former fighters. Everyone must end up either in the grave or in prison. It was decided to first deal with active resistance and attempts to seize power, and then within two months to resolve the issue with the rest. All pardoned prisoners will return to prison, most of them forever. Take everything under control and demonstratively crack down on the remnants, even those loyal to the authorities or neutral Wagnerites.

11:21 AM Today

Putin has not signed any documents since January 1, 2023. All reports that the president signed something are lies.

11:24 AM Today

The leadership of the power bloc forbade Sobyanin to leave Moscow under any circumstances.

13:34 PM Today

Lukashenka did not conduct any negotiations all day. He entered the negotiation process two and a half hours ago at the request of the security forces of the Russian leadership. There is a decision to squeeze Prigozhin out of the country, and deal with the Wagner PMC fighters over time on an individual basis. As for Prigozhin, the issue of his liquidation has been resolved, regardless of where it happens in Russia or outside of it. Prigozhin is really stupid, no one in a very short time will remember the "guarantees" given to him by Lukashenka and Patrusheim. The circus is not over yet, but the clowns are no longer a pity.

Losers:

Prigozhin's Troops: Think of this as a golf deal. Remember how PGA Golfers were told that Saudi Arabia was the devil, then Saudi Arabia bought the PGA Tour? Prigozhin and his troops were marching on Moscow, ready to fight, then the infamous Wagner Group Leader was whisked away, and the troops found out that they were absorbed into the Russian Army.

Putin: He kept power, but Russia knows that he's a detached ruler that ran. If Putin retires and counts his large sums of money in the bank, he wins. But if he's still in power over the next few years, his enemies now know it will be easier to put a bullet in his brain.

Facebook: Not one post about Russia. NOT ONE. I say the words Mötley Crüe and I'm getting stories about the band for a month and concert information IMMEDIATELY. There's nearly a coup in Russia and Mark Zuckerberg wants to know if I want to buy some ice cream.

You think the algorithm might not know that I follow current events? I follow both RT and the Daily Mail on Markie Mark's Platform.

David Ca: Still silent.
