The last couple of BOS articles have really bummed me out. (And I wrote them.)
Then I realized that nothing ever really gets fixed in America. I could type until my fingers bleed and no one really cares. Billionaires could fix some problems, but instead of doing that, they focus their energies on Space Travel. Arrogantly thinking they can out-smart NASA, the likes of (the late) Paul Allen, Richard Branson, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos have all poured billions into space flight.
Instead of pissing away money, I'm simply going to throw away time and for no charge whatsoever, tell you the Top 10 Songs Dedicated to Space Travel.
10. Goodbye Moonman by Johnathan Rice
9. Neil Armstrong by Angst
8. Martian Hop by the Ran-Dells
7. Space Lord by Monster Magnet
6. Star Trekkin' by The Firm
5. One Way Ticket to Pluto by the Dead Kennedys
4. Integalactic by the Beastie Boys
3. Rocket Man by Elton John

You didn't see your favorite on the list? Maybe we'll keep digging a bit deeper.
The One Song Dedicated to Space Travel That's So Bad that it Causes Your Head to Spontaneously Explode?
wait for it
That would be the Final Countdown by Europe
Inexplicably, this song is more popular on YouTube than all of the other songs on my Top 10 List combined. That just means you're all wrong.
And then there's this:
Back in 1991 Alice Donut wrote the song Rise to the Skin. It's about one man digging his fingers deep, deep into the dirt so he's not spun off into the vast emptiness of space.
So technically it's about insanity.
I considered Subway to Venus by the Red Hot Chili Peppers....
shhhhh.... I think it's really about drugs
What about Amerika by Rammstein?
Oh no, the video is a political statement instead of an ode to the glories of space.
This is a catchy little ditty called Mr. Spock by Nerf Herder, but this song isn't even about Star Trek.
It's an analogy about relationships.
And finally this:
Under the Milky Way by The Church
This song is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, but it's not about space travel either.
Nope, not at all. It's all about love.
