The Curse of Josh Gordon (Part IV)

Cleveland Browns record since drafting Josh Gordon in 2012? 20-76-1.

Last Browns win with Gordon on the roster? Christmas Eve 2016.

With the Browns cutting ties with Gordon on Saturday, the Browns Curse is officially lifted. How did getting rid of Gordon lift the curse? With Gordon it was always about talent, potential, drugs, drama, and marketing. Notice I didn't say the word FOOTBALL.

Josh can turn things around somewhere else, but at least the Cleveland Browns can now focus on winning games on the field instead of periphery concerns.

Am I rooting for Josh? No, no I'm not.

For those who question why I'm so mean to an addict, let me ask you, the reader, one quick question.

What would you rather do? A Ton of Drugs or Your Dream Job.

If you circled a ton of drugs, you and Josh Gordon have a lot in common.

You may argue that playing football may not be Josh Gordon's dream job. If that's the case, I don't want him around either.

Editor's Note: You have to read the ending in the Nice Guy Eddie voice.

AND, IF YOU ARGUE THAT FOOTBALL IS JOSH'S DREAM JOB AND HE CAN'T HELP HIMSELF, THEN WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD THE BROWNS CUT HIM AFTER ONE GODDAMN GAME AFTER WAITING FOR 4 YEARS FOR HIM TO GET SOBER?

Update (8 hours later): Ha, the Browns found a new way to extend their non-winning streak today and you are taunting me because I was wrong.

Jokes on you, technically Gordon is still on the roster. I could still be right.

LOOPHOLE!
