Donna Arthur's Six Figure Payday

According to the L.A. Times:

"Republican Vivek Ramaswamy’s team confirmed late Tuesday that it produced a controversial advertisement featuring the estranged mother of Amy Acton, and the campaign said it will spend $4 million to promote it."

Also according to the L.A. Times, Amy Acton's Mom wasn't paid for her message. That is the biggest lie of them all.

Donna Arthur could have spoken out during COVID, Acton's actions were questioned by many on the right in 2020, yet Mom stayed silent. Donna Arthur could have spoken out when Acton announced her candidacy, the lanes were all cleared to be the Democrat Nominee right from the start. Again, Arthur's conscious allowed her to sleep soundly at night.

Apparently Arthur sat on her hands for the past 6 years with the intent of being an October Surprise? Not plausible. Before 2026, Arthur thought an October Surprise was what happened to you when you didn't pay your rent.

Why wait so long? Because there was no money in speaking out against her estranged daughter. Now don't get me wrong, I don't believe Arthur at all, not one word of her garbage speech. But I think she would have sold her daughter out back in 2020 for a $100 and a bag of meth if given the chance.

But no one offered her that.

How can I claim she made 100 K for her stunt in the headline? Just makin' stuff up like she did. Tryin' to create some clickbait, tryin' to generate some heat. It is not my job at Beacon of Speech to prove she took $100,000 from Vivek, she inserted herself into this race and made OPPOSITE statements from what a court of law found. Now that Arthur has placed herself in the public domain, time for her to open up and show us her financial records and prove that she DIDN'T take that money from Vivek. Apparently, according to JD Vance, it doesn't matter if you create false narratives, that's politics.

Over and over in this election cycle, Vivek has run one of the slimiest gubernatorial campaigns in Modern Ohio History, but this junk was way over-the-top.

As a Libertarian-leaning website, we were leaning toward voting for Libertarian Don Kissick, but Kissick dropped this statement 4 hours ago: Libertarian candidate for Ohio governor calls on Ramaswamy to drop out over attack ad. That's how egregious Vivek's actions were.

In a one vs one between Kissick and Acton, we would have voted for Kissick. But since Vivek isn't dropping out, we're going to hold our nose and vote for Amy Acton.

Then whine about it for the next 4 years.

We are loathe to vote against any candidate, we try to vote for the best candidate available.

But don't worry, we're still going to vote for Libertarian Bill Redpath for Senate.
