From Derek Xxxxxx on his Facebook page this morning:
"They let me out of the hospital finally. Nothing positive, but speculation is that I got the E. Coli from a McDonald's sandwich I ate yesterday morning. Where ever it came from there was a couple of us in there with it. It felt like the beginning of a zombie movie. The girl in the room next to me was screaming all night. It was definitely an experience. I went in the same day I got it so it was a little easier to deal with. If I would have waited and tried to sleep it off I'd be still in there.
Thank you to everyone for all of the messages, feels nice to know that so many people care."
Derek 100% had E Coli.
Derek 100% ate a McDonald's Sandwich.
They are supposedly trying to track the other E Coli cases to see if they also ate at the same McDonald's.
Derek lives very near the Cleveland, Ohio border.
Editor's Note: Last night Derek was in bad shape and was asking well wishes. He had never been sicker in his life.
