The Amazing Staying Power of The Wizard of Oz

Everyone in America has watched The Wizard of Oz at one point or another, there's no one unfamiliar with the concept that there's a Wizard of Oz movie.
If you want to read a nice blog about the story of the film, here one: The Story Behind the Film.
But until this week, I don't think I realized how omnipresent the movie continues to be in American Culture.
Earlier this week, a co-worker of mine was excited to go see The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere in Vegas. Starting price for tickets? Around $100.
I know, I know, it's an 'interactive' experience. Co-worker Michelle corrected me, "the tickets to see the movie are the cheap part. Getting to Vegas is the expensive part."
Looked to see what was showing at the local drive-in this weekend, lo and behold, The Wizard of Oz:
But I'm not in Vegas, and I'm too lazy to stay up until Midnight for the second matinee at the drive-in.
Can I watch the Wizard of Oz at home?
Apparently, yes: These are your streaming options.
Very rarely am I so at a loss for words.
So tomorrow morning, I can wake up, go to the local Spirit Halloween, and buy myself a Wizard of Oz costume. Then go to eBay's Wizard of Oz page and buy all the memorabilia that I like. Then book myself a spot at the National Wizard of Oz Convention in November. I can then cap off my day by watching The Wizard of Oz on nearly any platform of my choosing, over and over, until my eyeballs bleed?
Again, all experiences based off of a Family Film from 1939?
Article over.
The story of Dorothy.....
From a Punk Rock Perspective???
Just a reminder, 1961's Tales of the Wizard of Oz may be the worst cartoon ever created:
