The Kate Graham Conundrum

Kate Graham was an actress that was in the Troma Film Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead. Poultrygeist (2006) was not high art, but for a Troma Production, it was actually pretty good.
To me, the star of the movie was Kate Graham. Poultrygeist did not have a great ensemble cast, but she lit up the screen while the rest of the cast were glorified walk-ons. (Which they probably were).
Now did Kate Graham use Poultrygeist as the stepping stone to a great career? No, she basically had a few entry level background jobs and was out of show business in 5 to 7 years.
Did Kate Graham become a Scream Queen? No, she avoided B-movies like the plague after Poultrygeist. I found this disclaimer about Poultrygeist on Reddit: THE ACTORS WERE TOLD THIS WOULD BE A DIFFICULT PROCESS AND THEY WOULD MAKE NO MONEY.
So if you're a young actress, trying to break into show business, you have to avoid the casting couch, then decide if you want to take off your top for better roles, or keep your top on for crappy low-end roles and then have the patience to work your way up?
What brought this up? I rewatched Poultrygeist a few days ago and I had expected Graham to have been on CSI or Law and Order by now, you know, after "paying her dues." I just assumed she was on programs that I don't usually watch. Instead, she just disappeared into the ether.
And I felt bad for Kate Graham. I'm sure she had dreams of being a working actress...
Graham's co-star in Poultrygeist? Jason Yachanin. He played a dope named Artie and did NOT light up the screen. I threw debris at the TV whenever he was on.
Why bring his name up?
Apparently, he graduated from my High School. So Brunswick (Ohio) High School is known in Hollywood for Kevin Peterka, who wrote Speed II, and Artie from Poutrygeist?
<sigh>
You know what? I think I'm just going to stop here-
