The Problematic Ilhan Omar

Do you know what happens to radical politicians in Europe? People hit them in the face with pies. They smash eggs on their bald domes. They throw shoes at them.
So earlier this week, some pinhead sprayed....
This is so absurd, I have to go back and look it up again-
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR on Congressperson Ilhan Omar. Now don't get me wrong, you shouldn't do that, but every single angle was so weird.
Donald Trump chirped that he thought it was a false flag, as did nearly every Libertarian website that I follow.
I thought it was a bad publicity stunt, like when those Crypto Guys threw dildos on the court at WNBA games. I'm still not sure what that was about.
And Democrats said that the Congressperson had survived an assassination attempt. By vinegar. Sorry, apple cider vinegar.
And, for a split second, no one even knew what the liquid was. For all anyone knew, it could have been acid or a biological agent. The Left praised her stamina to continue speaking, but as I reviewed the incident, it was suspicious that her handlers didn't rush her out of there out of an abundance of caution.
But I digress.
What's my specific problem with Ilhan Omar? Four-fold.
On a Political Level: Before hitting the publish button, I reviewed Omar's Political Policies online, just for verification. I disagree with almost every platform she officially stands for. About a decade ago, I took a political quiz and (unsurprisingly) aligned with Libertarians about 85% of the time. My views coincided with Liberals/Socialism about 18% of the time. Ilhan Omar's entire Squad straddles the line between Liberalism and Socialism
On a Personal Level: Growing up, the concept of America as a "Melting Pot" was a recurring theme. Omar considers the Melting Pot Theory as an insult. An insult? Omar came to America from a country that Donald Trump described as a "Shithole" and has complained about integrating with Americans ever since. Somalia is ranked 158th out of 165 nations on the Freedom Index and her analogies of how America should be more like Somalia really rubs me the wrong way. (America is ranked 17th out of 165 for those keeping score at home). In America, you have free speech to say how crappy America is. In Somalia, you are dragged into the streets and beaten with rocks and sticks for complaining about how crappy Somalia is.
On a Religious Level: She fought to wear the hijab, but I am unclear why, she is a Sunni Muslim. A hijab is a way that Muslim Men control Muslim Women, but I always considered the hijab as mandatory in the Shiite Religion. My friend Taufique was the most devout Sunni Muslim I knew. He had his praying rug, prayed 5 times a day, faced Mecca, always carried a Quran, etc. He never dated a Muslim girl in a hijab. Why? "Because I live in America." (Taufique later moved to Canada), You say her brand of Sunni-ism says to wear the hijab? Pretty sure her brand of Sunni-ism is not cool with a 3rd marriage by 40.
On a Criminal Level: Earlier today, Donald Trump accused Ilhan Omar and her associates of illegally funneling $20 billion in Federal Funds to Somalia. I don't want to see Donald Trump venting on Truth Social, if true, I want to see charges in Federal Court. Do I think she's running a multi-billion dollar scam? I don't. I really don't think she's smart enough. But for someone who emigrated to American penniless, the youngest of 7 siblings, I find it very hard to believe she's worth $44 million on a Civil Servant's Salary. (Which she disputes).
You know the REAL reason I dislike Ilhan Omar so much? The Donald Trump Show is really wearing me out. If the Democrats would just roll out a Moderate Democrat that said simple things that Democrats USED to say, like "we stand with the Middle Class," even if they don't mean it, they could sweep elections for a decade. But they just keep lurching farther and farther to the Left with kooks and socialists.
