so Theodore Ted Conrad died back in May of this year. Conrad stole $215,000 from the bank he worked at in Cleveland over 50 years ago. He used his ($1.7 million in today's dollars) to catapult himself to a dream life of fast cars and high end golf.

Today at the Daily Mail: Bank Teller Who Vanished with $215,000 in Stolen Cash 52 Years Ago is Finally Tracked Down to a Boston Suburb - But He's Dead: Made Off with the Equivalent of $1.7 Million, Became a Golf Pro and Sold Luxury Cars before Dying of Cancer.

Today at cleveland.com: Mystery Solved: Theodore Conrad Vanished After Robbing Cleveland Bank Where He Worked in 1969: Marshals Traced Him to Boston Suburb.

But guess what? If Conrad didn't die, the FBI wouldn't have found him, cleveland.com wouldn't have found him, no one would have found him. Only the Grim Reaper successfully chased down Conrad.

If you look at both stories above, they are intriguing, but, brass tacks, Conrad won. Period. End of Story.

Conrad, the poster boy for the American Dream in 2021.
