The oft-quoted Rush Limbaugh used to say:
"An army exists for only 2 Reasons: To Kill People and To Break Stuff."
An army should not be an agent of social change. Rush was fundamentally correct.
On October 7 2023, Hamas declared war on Israel. Within a day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas.
Gazan Residents wailed "we are being slaughtered." Uh, yeah. You declared war on Israel. You are now losing that war. The Israeli Army is proficient in killing people and breaking stuff.
Gazan Residents claim that Israel is targeting civilians. There is no "Hamas Army Base." Hamas is in the neighborhoods and in the tunnels. Everything past October 7th, fair or foul, is a war action.
The people of Gaza are tragically learning this fact:
Hamas: Good at Terrorism, Bad at War.
There is a reason that Egypt is building that wall.
