"A Felon and a Rapist"

I hope Donald Trump enjoyed his night in the sun last night*, because in August he is going to be under attack like no candidate since World War II.

Over at MSNBC on Monday, the Corporate Suits pulled the plug on their morning show "Morning Joe" for the day. Why? Because they were afraid of glib comments hosts Joe Scarborough

or Mika Brzezinski might make about this past weekend's assassination attempt.

Now the Morning Joe Story made headlines because Joe and Mika were pissed, they whined to anyone and everyone who would listen.

But quietly there was some under reported corporate censorship.

Every Sunday Night, Dean Obeidallah has his partisan rhetoric printed over at CNN.com. Last November, Dean Obeidallah compared Donald Trump to Hitler. Fast forward to Sunday, some Democrats whispered, "oh crap, some voters may link our Hitler Comparisons to the assassination attempt."

Editor's Note: Ya' think?

For about a day, the Democrats chilled out. After Donald Trump survived the attempt on his life, CNN didn't print Obeidallah's weekend column.

Now, at first, I thought "well everyone deserves a vacation." So I slid over to Obeidallah's Substack, and, lo and behold, there WAS a weekend column, he wasn't on vacation at all: JD Vance is Worse and More Dangerous Than You Know.

Most of Obeidallah's missive was abut Vance, but Obeidallah continues to refer to Donald Trump as "Felon Donald Trump."

And that's going to be the new game plan for the Left starting at the (D) Convention. You will hear Donald Trump referred to as a felon and rapist, because calling him Hitler backfired. Felon and a rapist, over and over, hundreds of times, in print and in soundbites. Like Rush Limbaugh used to pontificate: The Democrats have a playbook.

I place the over/under for felon/rapist references at 37 for the next convention.

Editor's Note II:

Bad Sex is not Rape. (Carroll**)

Paying for sex is not Rape. (Daniels)

[18 and above, of course.]

If Donald Trump is a felon for hiding a sex scandal, then we need to address President # 42 as Felon Bill Clinton....

This is a great place to pause.

Do you know why the average American votes for Trump?

Because they are more afraid of the far-left ramblings of Dean Obeidallah and his ilk, than they are afraid of Donald Trump.

Dean Obeidallah may defend using the word 'felon' as an adjective to describe Donald Trump, "because he is one."

I could say the same for my use of the word 'scumbag' as an adjective to describe Dean Obeidallah, "because he is one."

Your reply is that name-calling is juvenile?

Exactly.

*I am sorry to go off topic, but last night when Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, and Dana White all trotted out with their vague messages of Americana, I was disappointed. Every convention caters to their base, but usually the Right focuses on messages while the Left tries to leverage star power.

I don't care if a celebrity likes Trump or Biden. Celebrities' political opinions mean zero to me. With that being said, if I had to bring out one famous celebrity to break up the night, in 2024, I would have chosen Dana White. He has an unmatched masculine gravitas.

(Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan are almost cartoon characters.)

**We better clarify the E. Jean Carroll comment. E. Jean Carroll had a VERY brief affair with Donald Trump in 1995 or 1996. Carroll and Trump flirted with each other and had a 'quickie.'

No adult, professional woman innocently goes into a department store dressing room with a man and doesn't expect a certain outcome.

E. Jean Carroll had regret that the encounter was short, unsatisfying, and rough. She also regrets having an affair with a man that was pro-choice at the time, but now, not so much.

Donald Trump has regret too, regret that he got caught.

But regret, by either party, is not rape.

Pound this into your skull.

Regret is not rape.

Regret is not rape.

Regret is not rape.
