The Disingenuous "Release the Files" Chant

Over at Bluesky, I keep seeing "Release the Files" posts, at least, once a day. Sorry to be that guy, but semantically, it should be "Release ALL the Files."

Of course the reference is to the Epstein Files.

According to AI:

• Total Pages: ~3.5 million pages made public (out of roughly 6 million initially collected and reviewed).

• Additional Media: More than 2,000 videos and 180,000 images.

• Withheld/Redacted Material: Roughly 2.5 million collected pages were withheld due to duplicates, legal privileges, or exclusions protecting victim identities and preventing active investigative harm.

So if 3.5 million pages are released, why is no one in prison?

Because for the far-left, which is the majority of Bluesky users, it was never about the Files themselves, it was about "getting Trump."

You're screaming at me that Trump is guilty as sin and the redacted files all have his name on them? I believe that to be true.

But for now, you go with what you have. Put Bill Clinton in prison, make sure he has a nice double bunk, then in 2, 6, or 10 years, when the next Democrat President is elected, you can make Trump his cellmate.

The problem with the Epstein Files is that no Democrat wants to put their rich friends or donors in prison, because it ties them to the guilty. And no Republican wants to put their rich friends or donors in prison, because it ties them to the guilty. There is still no traction to tear down political parties over a sex scandal.

The Democrats and Republicans are desperate to keep their 2 party duopoly, that's why if either party was mortally wounded, they would be afraid of the splintering after-effects. The Democrats would be afraid that their party could be inherited by Zohran Mamdani's brand of Socialism or the Republican's could lose their grip to Thomas Massie's brand of Libertarianism. What if the Epstein Files cause there to be 3 or 4 major political parties?

In 10-20 years from now, when most of the perpetrators are dead, the entirety of the files will come out. But what do you do then? Put Trump and Clinton's grandchildren in prison?

Most of the main suspects are dead or in their 80's, real justice has already passed them by.

The next time some Anti-Trump champion screams "lock him up!" Make sure you grammatically correct them, you mean "lock THEM ALL up!"

Their response will reveal if the are truly seeking justice, or are simply partisans.
