This is about freeing your mind....
The Fermi Paradox posits that if the universe is loaded with aliens, why don't we see them?
I explained, in 2019, "about a hundred years ago, radio station KDKA started broadcasting commercially to Americans, so lets use the number 100 as a nice, round base number. Let's say that evolution is true and the whole universe started 13-14 billion years ago. Since traveling by light years is like traveling back in time, those radio bursts above aren't just 7.9 billion light years away, but from 7.9 billion YEARS ago. There are no the theories of evolution that explain how intelligent life could evolve so quickly.
One hundred light years away is about as far as you can look if you are looking for humans that evolved at our same rate. Basically you can't look outside of the Milky Way Galaxy for life. Not that it isn't there, but that it's not there more than 100 years in the past. Let's pretend that the aliens evolved exponentially faster than human, you still really can't look past our closest galaxy Canis Major Overdensity. At 25,000 light years away, what was going on in 25,000 BC on Earth? Humans using rocks to draw on cave walls. Our closest neighbor when you consider spiral galaxies is the Andromeda Galaxy at 2.5 million light years away, or we see it as it was 2.5 million years ago. If radio waves travel at the speed of light, and we find aliens using radio waves in the Andromeda Galaxy, that means they evolved 2.5 million years (at least) faster than us. You don't have to be a Mathematician to know that's probably bad news for the Homo Sapiens."
But back in 2019, I was thinking about time travel in a linear way, from Planet X to Planet Earth.
Last week on a science blog, they explained that Stephen Hawking's Black Hole Information Paradox could be solved if the universe had 7 dimensions.
I hate to be that guy, but if our universe had 7 dimensions, that would explain a lot of things. Let's start here though: How many dimensions are there, really? In our observable universe, there are 4 dimensions, length, width, depth, and time. According to Live Science's article above, 7 dimensions explain away anomalies in Hawking's advanced math. According to String Theory, there are 10-11 dimensions. If you are specifically looking for Higher Dimensions, there are 5 to 11 of those, including alternate timelines, alternate universes, and differential conditions. If you go over to Reddit, Bosonic String Theory hypothesizes 26 dimensions.
Ghosts? Maybe they're just beings moving between dimensions.
Maybe Heaven is just in an unobservable dimension.
Same thing with Hell.
But for now, let's focus on the aliens. If aliens were interdimensional travelers, instead of intergalactic travelers, it is possible that they could walk amongst us without our knowledge. Even if they revealed themselves to us, we would have no comprehension of how they came or went.
Now alcohol explains away many UFO sightings, but there are hundreds of thousands of sightings from rational, level-headed people that cannot be explained by science. Multiple dimensions could, hypothetically, explain folds that could exist between realities.
Is it possible that nuclear testing, starting in 1945, alerted alternate dimensions of our presence?
Possible. Is it possible that benign spacecrafts like Voyagers I & II could have done the same thing? Also possible.
The scary thing is, let's say half of all UFO occurrences are true. Actually, let's stop right there. Let's take one single UFO report. You think there's an alien in your home and it came from another dimension and you call the local police. Do you think the local cops can do anything? FBI? CIA? National Troops? The unknown moves in incomprehensible ways.
You are helpless.
If the government knows that aliens exist, and they travel through dimensions instead of through width, length, depth, and time, they would probably be best served keeping that a secret. Why? I'm not talking about you and me, we're reading Science Blogs, we're smart cookies. But could the general population accept the presence of aliens that could come and go as they pleased and the government couldn't do anything about it? Could that knowledge domino into governments falling? That's not outside the realm of possibility....
Listen, I'm not saying what's true or false, I'm just saying that between 5 and 26 dimensions leaves a lot of room for speculation and imagination. That means there are entire realms of reality that mankind cannot comprehend.
What's my underlying problem today? I feel like society has plateaued. If AI is so great, why isn't it answering great science mysteries like how many dimensions there are? Every time I use AI, it just rewords what has already been said. Being a collective mind doesn't move society forward.
I mean, wars in the Middle East? Why haven't we moved past THAT?
You say that this whole article is just a bunch of tangled hogwash?
The reason there's so many alien reports is because Half of Americans Live in States Where Weed is Legal.
Also possible.
