Donald Trump's Dad was nothing more than a ruthless businessman, and, some would say, a slumlord.

Donald Trump was born to be a businessman. He parlayed the millions he was gifted from his Father into billions, mostly through his investments in real estate. Some would say Donald was clever, some would say he was unscrupulous. No matter your interpretation, Donald Trump was a businessman who flourished under the media glare. Donald's business skills were a lot like Fred Trump's, but young Donald had charisma, he would give you a smirk and a wink while he strong-armed you behind the scenes.

Before the millennium ended, Donald Trump flirted with the Reform Party under the guise that "America should be run like a business." That didn't work for him.

Around the turn of the millennium, Donald Trump flirted with the Democrat Party under the guise that "America should be run like a business." That didn't work for him.

About the year 2010, Donald Trump became a Republican under the guise that "America should be run like a business." Republicans lapped that shit up.

But make no mistake, Trump didn't change, he just found the best deal available:

Trump is not an educator.

Trump is not a prophet.

Trump is not a politician.

Trump is not a healer.

Trump is not an artist.

Trump-

Is-

A-

Businessman.

So when Righties like Marjorie Taylor Greene or Tucker Carlson whine that Donald Trump tricked them, they look like idiots because Donald Trump ain't tricking anyone. Donald Trump is Donald Trump.

Our beef with Donald Trump, since the beginning, is that running a country is a bit more nuanced than running a business. It is literally that simple.

Let's use the bombing of Iran as an example:

  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Squad hate Israel. They are furious that Trump bombed a country that they like.

  • Marjorie Taylor Greene hates all other countries, the USA is the best. No American Troops should die overseas and no one should come from other countries to America. She is furious that Trump bombed another country.

  • Libertarians ignore all other countries. They are upset that Trump bombed another country because other countries' problems aren't our problems.

Multiple outlets have reported that Donald Trump bombed Iran because the Ayatollah wouldn't take his calls to come to the negotiating table. Unlike the business world, Donald Trump has bombs that allow him to force negotiations. That, too, is that simple. There was no underlying political philosophy behind his bombing.

Now in Russia and Ukraine, Donald Trump just thinks he's completing a complicated business deal. He is in way over his head. Why? Because Ukraine wants independence and Russia believes Ukraine is part of Russia. There is no real compromise in that arrangement.

Russia has threatened to give Iran the nuclear warheads that were destroyed in yesterday's bombing. Okay, Trump is the master negotiator, he should tell Putin that's fine and he's going to pull out of the Budapest Memorandum.

What does that mean? It means Trump will give Ukraine back the nuclear weapons that were relinquished in 1994. Iran gets nukes, Ukraine gets nukes.

Voila! The art of the deal.

You either like the way Trump conducts his business or you don't.

You are screaming through tears at your computer "America isn't a Business."

I'm not arguing with you.
