Jim Mora's Bush League Cop Out

According to the USA Today, Colorado State's Jim Mora was caught in a confusing situation: "Speaking after the game, Mora confirmed he had relieved Summers of his play-calling duties mid-game, but that it was his defensive coordinator's decision to leave the field. He did specify that Summers was "no longer with the program."
Jim Mora? That guy has got to be 90 years old. What's he doing coaching Colorado State?
Oh, it's Jim Mora Jr., another Nepo Baby Coach who couldn't fill his Father's Shoes. We are going to make this short and sweet, Jim Mora is 100% wrong in this instance.
If your Defensive Coordinator is calling plays you don't like as a coach, you take away his play-calling duties after the game. You don't yank his assignments in the middle of the game. You especially don't do it to former interim coach Tyson Summers who was trying to ease the transition for Mora as Colorado State joined the Big 12.
Mora suffers from Manager's Disease, an ailment where a boss embarrasses a guy so profoundly that he quits, then pleads innocent, "that guy fired himself."
Uh, no.
After the loss, Colorado State fell to # 103 (out of 138) in the polls. If Colorado State finishes at 3-9, and, after looking at the schedule, that is entirely possible, Mora will be a one-and-done coach. Colorado State isn't the bottom of the ladder for a former NFL head coach....but it's close.
If he doesn't retire next year, look for Mora to latch onto a West Coast, Big 10 school as their D-Coordinator in 2027. Somewhere like Oregon, Washington, or USC, a place where the coach would NEVER pull the shit that Mora pulled yesterday.
