Michael Tomasky is the Joke

Way, way back in 2019, when Tomasky was dragging down the Daily Beast, he predicted that the only way Democrats would win in 2020 was if they nominated either Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. His rationale? They were the only two that "energized" the party.

He said if the Democrats nominated Joe Biden, again this is 2020, their candidate would be "ROADKILL."

Of course I was right and Michael Tomasky wrong, or else I wouldn't be writing about this today. But Tomasky, who is the very definition of a liberal hack, came out yesterday and attacked, basically, every third party candidate over the last 20 years.

Seeing I haven't voted for a Democrat or Republican since Bob Dole in the presidential elections, I was seething.

But instead of attacking the content, which I am WAY to lazy to do today, I am attacking The New Republic's bio of him. This is TNR bio: "Michael Tomasky is the editor of The New Republic and the author of five books, including his latest and critically acclaimed The Middle Out: The Rise of Progressive Economics and a Return to Shared Prosperity. With extensive experience as an editor, columnist, progressive commentator, and special correspondent for renowned publications such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, The New York Times, the Daily Beast, and many others, Tomasky has been a trusted voice in political journalism for more than three decades."

Garbage.

Corrected.

"Michael Tomasky is the hack editor of The New Republic and the author of five books, all bucketfuls of liberal tripe. With extensive experience as an editor, columnist, progressive commentator, and special correspondent for publications that exist, such as The Guardian, The Washington Post, The New York Times, the Daily Beast, and many others, Tomasky has been only been able see one side of the political spectrum for a generation. Simply put, the Left's Dollar Store answer to Rush Limbaugh."

You can read Tomasky's missive about third parties, as long as you know the author's angle.
