No One is Defending Free Speech

Back in the year 2020, from Beacon of Speech:

"I admit it, I liked the Indians name. Will I stop watching baseball because the Dolans changed the name? No, but almost everyone is missing the point. The nickname of the Indians was symbolic of free speech in America. Today you gave up some of your free speech rights."

Idiots on the Left changed the names of sports mascots.

Idiots on the Right changed the names of bodies of water.

On the record, the Indians should still be the nickname of the Cleveland baseball team, the lake north of New York State should still be called Lake Ontario.

But over at Bluesky, bunch of morons said "big difference between changing racist content and innocuous content."

Uh, again, we are talking about sports mascots and the names of water bodies. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what either is named.

But what really chaffed my ass at Bluesky was when some lefties didn't understand it was the same concept, they loudly proclaimed "go back to Twitter."

Which reminds us all, we are in the culture wars. Do you defend the concept of free speech itself, or your political party's version of free speech?
