I have rarely been so mad that I can't write, but today is one of those days.
Former FIFA boss Sepp Blatter rolled out of bed and dropped this quote on the world:
That's it.
If you asked me: Who was the most corrupt administrator in all of Modern Sports? Not in the NFL, not in the Premier League, not in the NBA, but IN ALL OF SPORTS, I would probably say Sepp Blatter.
Between 2018's World Cup in Russia and 2022's World Cup in Qatar, which were awarded their tournaments a decade earlier, Blatter's organization took a mountain of bribes.
Donald Trump wants to bring justice to one of the biggest White Collar Criminals of our time? Have him swoop into Blatter's Estate in Zurich, Switzerland and drag his ass out of there for the world to see.
If even HALF of the accusations made against Blatter are true, (from the New York Times,) that guy should be sipping prune gruel through a straw at the Otisville Prison Camp.
Most corrupt sports deal in modern times? The awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar.
That was all done under Blatter's "watchful" eye.
