Tell Marjorie Taylor Greene's Kids to Have Fun on Kharg Island

Back in 2023, Marjorie Taylor Greene grabbed anyone who would listen and screamed "Volodymyr Zelensky Wants Our Sons and Daughters to Die in Ukraine."
Now that wasn't true, but politicians don't always tell the truth. Are there any American Troops in Ukraine today? There are not.
But we did have a response to MTG in real time back in 2023:
"I am going to go out on a limb and say that NONE of Marjorie Taylor Greene's three children are going to die in the armed services, no matter what country she may imagine we're in:
They may die in Mexico on Spring Break.
They may die when China invades.
They may die on the streets of Georgia.
They certainly aren't dying in Ukraine, because there are no servicemen there."
Now Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned from her position in government in January of 2026, but you can't "unvote" for Donald Trump, he is still the president.
If I told you that voting for Donald Trump in 2024 would mean 'boots on the ground' in Iran in 2026, would you have voted for him?
Will America really invade, and occupy, Kharg Island? Hard to say if that would be a reality or just media-driven propaganda.
But behind the scenes, my wife is very worried, I am less so.
Why? Because a lot of this has happened before. What we are talking about today is very similar to what George Bush was saying about Iraq before the first Gulf War. When America attacked Iraq, the Iraqi Republican Guard was the most elite fighting force in the Middle East. There were warnings in the media of a mass casualty event on the American side. When the war actually began though, and the bullets started flying, those Iraqis couldn't surrender fast enough. Those guys hated Saddam as much as Bush did.
Because Trump is like a kid distracted by shiny coins, his 'no new war' mantra fell away last year in Venezuela. Seemingly not out of malice, but out of boredom.
Where are we going with this?
Two weeks ago, according to miliary.com:
"Brian C. McGinnis, a Marine Corps veteran and Green Party candidate for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, was forcibly removed from a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on March 4, 2026, after interrupting the proceedings with a protest over U.S. policy in the Middle East. During the hearing, McGinnis stood and began shouting objections to what he characterized as the U.S. movement toward war with Iran in support of Israel."
Let me be clear and concise. Very few Americans are "called" to be in the armed services. Since the draft was abolished after Vietnam, the Volunteer Army has mostly been populated with poor and middle-class Americans enticed by the promises of signing bonuses and free college. When you sign up for the military in the United States, they own you, in exchange for the promise of a better life. There is only a small chance of death in return.
That's why, for the last generation, we bomb whoever we want with relatively few military casualties. There is no support in this country for a meatgrinder war, like the one Putin is staging in Ukraine.
If Iran turned into a meatgrinder, it could collapse the volunteer army in America. Mr. McGinnis is fundamentally wrong about Israel, he signed up for ANY whims of the American President, whether valid or invalid.
The question is, is Trump willing to roll the dice like Bush did in Iraq?
My wife asked "can we just send people who voted for Trump in 2024 to Iran?"
I chuckled, "I don't know, ask Marjorie Taylor Greene."
