Alex Honnold is a Good Dad

I watched Alex Honnold's Netflix Special: Skyscraper Live.
I liked the special, it was good TV, like Evel Knievel on ABC Sports.
But the commentators stressed, like a dozen times, how dangerous the climb was and that Honnold had a wife and kids. They HINTED that it was irresponsible to climb that building. Many viewers took to the internet and didn't hint at that position, they flat out said it.
Let me ask you: What is better for your kids?
Climbing a mountain for no money or climbing a skyscraper for $500,000?
I watched the Free Solo documentary. Yesterday's climb was much EASIER than El Capitan.
After yesterday's climb, Honnold went from cult extreme-sports figure to a household name.
Not today, not tomorrow, but when he retires, Honnold will have parlayed participating in a sport that barely pays enough to keep you alive, and forces you to scour for sponsorship dollars, to being able to make commercials and be on the cover of the Wheaties Box.

I would argue the exact OPPOSITE of the commentators.
For a guy who lived in a van for most of his 20's, yesterday's pay day set up his kids for a comfortable upbringing and probably paid for college.
