The Interlopers: Preview Under Screen Shot

On Sunday Night, I started to watch The Interlopers. After 45 minutes, I gave up. It was too sparse for my tired brain.

But, because I'm neurotic, I was afraid that I potentially could have missed a great movie, though I doubted that.

So I cheated and went to Rotten Tomatoes, there were exactly 2 reviews to guide my thought process:

  • 1/2 Star out of 5 - "Had to shut it down after 45 minutes."

  • 5 Stars out of 5 - "I would give this movie a BILLION stars if I could."

Well that didn't help at all. Because I couldn't shake the nagging feeling that The Interlopers would eventually pick up, I went back and finished it on Monday and....

It wasn't a very good movie.

Without giving away any spoilers, it was just too sparse for a zombie movie, that simple. But the film really stayed with me, it would have made a really good book.

The positive was that for a no-budget movie, it was original and very well written. If you are interested in high concept horror, The Interlopers is for you-

As long as you drink a Celsius.

Or 3.
