Growing up, Catholic Priests warned me that Satan was hiding everywhere.
In the music of KISS.
In the music of Led Zeppelin.
In the music of Judas Priest.
In the music of Styx.
Yes, that Styx.
Then, I came to find out that, for the most part, the Priests were just trying to scare kids into being good. It's easier to scare youngsters with visions of hell instead of teaching them the virtues of goodness. Very few popular bands were really Satanic....
Which brings us to today.
Bryce Wagner keeps showing up on my Reelz on Facebook.
I don't even have Instagram.
What did Bryce Wagner say that has me all tied up in knots? Last week, he warned Christians about Satanic Messages from these musical artists:
Lil Nas X
Taylor Swift
Adele
Megan Thee Stallion
Really? I don't like ANY of the artists above, but the last thing I would describe them as is Satanic. Then, that post garnered so much heat, he posted 4 More Artists with Satanic Messaging:
Playboi Carti
Drake
Lady Gaga
Ariana Grande
What are we doing here? This is absurd. (Okay, maybe not Playboi Carti.)
At first I considered doing a Top 100 Songs with Satanic Messages list, just to show Bryce Wagner what REAL Satanic music is.
Then I realized that Bryan Wagner was just a tool. His righteous God Act will eventually wear thin. Once Wagner is Instafamous, he will inevitably fall into drugs and alcohol and die an early death, they all do.
But why am I so irrationally angry?
We at Beacon of Speech believe in free speech.
I believe in the right to make God-driven music.
I believe in the right to make Satanic-driven music.
Both are considered art.
I am not a fan of Taylor Swift, but if you say she is Satanic, you are lying, bordering on slander. You can say it, but you shouldn't say it.
How about this? I think that Bryce Wagner is Satanic. From his Social Media feed, you can tell that he is judgmental and makes statements for shock value. He also earns $10,000 a month on platforms that I believe that God does not endorse.
According to Pope Francis: "All too often (social media) simplifies reality in order to provoke instinctive reactions; it uses words like a razor; it even uses false or artfully distorted information to send messages designed to agitate, provoke or hurt."
Where did Pope Francis deliver his message? On his Instagram Account.

... you know what? We're done here for today.
I should try to end on a positive note?
Uh, how 'bout this: Don't worry all you Little Monsters and Swifties, you'll probably be going to hell for reasons totally unrelated to listening to your favorite musical artist.
