In February of 2026, beloved actor Robert Carradine, a member of Hollywood's Carradine Family, passed away. Famous from the Revenge of the Nerds Franchise and the Lizzie McGuire Series, the nation was in shock as tributes poured in from co-stars and fans alike. An entire industry paused to mourn his death.

A few weeks later, sadly, it was revealed that Carradine had committed suicide.

Legal Disclaimer from AI: Does the 1-800-273-8255 Suicide Hotline number still work? Yes. Although the 10-digit number was transitioned to the easier-to-remember “988” in July 2022, it remains functional and will connect you to 988 Lifeline services.

Last week I saw the Skate to Hell trailer at Amazon Prime.

Is that Todd Bridges?

Is that Mason Reese?

Is that Eric Roberts?

"Wow, Skate to Hell looks like Campy Fun," I thought to myself.

It wasn't.

Skate to Hell was so bad, I could see the lifeforce drain from Robert Carradine's body on camera. It was like Director Shawn C. Phillips got dementia, did a ton of meth, then sniffed the burning embers of rotting film stock, THEN tried to piece together a movie.

Listen, I love a good "bad" movie, but this was bad "bad."

Toward the end, it seemed like the movie was TRYING to aspire to be the B-movie version of Adam Sandler's Little Nicky.

Side Note: Esquire called Little Nicky "Adam Sandler's 31st Best Film."

Skate to Hell was like if you took Little Nicky, removed the plot, took out decent actors and replaced them with homeless people, and then flushed all your money for set design down

the toilet.

Skate to Hell is what really killed Robert Carradine, not unlike the way John Landis killed Vic Morrow.

I am not exaggerating, I am not using hyperbole.

Article over.

For an article this short, I did a surprising amount of research. I thought that Skate to Hell was Robert Carradine's last movie.

If you shoot on over to Wikipedia, Skate to Hell isn't even listed on Carradine's Filmography. (But it is listed on IMDB).

Carradine's last movie is listed as Sorority Shark Attack.

The preview came out last month, but the film has a soft release date of May 2026.

But because it appears that Sorority Shark Attack has SOME post-production work done, I stand by the possibility that Skate to Hell was the last movie Carradine ever filmed.
