According to Jake Paul, these are the Top 10 Overrated Athletes of All Time:
Babe Ruth
Trevor Lawrence
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ryan Garcia
Conor McGregor
Dak Prescott
Anthony Edwards
Canelo Alvarez
Tua Tagovailoa
Anthony Joshua
First of all, Jake Paul is an imbecile. I can't even make an argument for any of those athletes being on the list. And Ronaldo? Jake Paul is just being a d*ck for publicity. His list lacks neither rhyme nor reason.
You want my list?
Jake Paul
End of list.
Be serious? Okay.
Tiger Woods - Golf isn't a sport. Woods is not an athlete. (Not just Woods, any golfer).
Jake Paul - Internet celebrity Jake Paul paid Mike Tyson $20 million NOT to punch him. You will never convince me otherwise. Paul's fights should be held on Broadway because they are all staged.
JaMarcus Russell - That kid should have been the biggest star the NFL had ever seen based on his college career at LSU. Instead, you got nothing.
Steve Howe - Drugs are not cool. Very good ERA for his first four years in the league, wildly erratic the rest of his career.
Ben Simmons - Nothing but an overpaid whiner. An embarrassment to the NBA, he made $165 million in his career to sit on the bench with injuries like hangnails and a sore butt.
Sean Avery - Average (at best) NHL player. World class pest. Known more for penalty minutes than scoring, despite being a winger.
Freddy Adu - He was NOT the American Pelé, despite having a 17 year professional soccer career.
Rebecca Lobo - One of the greatest Women's Basketball players of all time in college, barely a ripple in the WNBA past her second season.
Steve Prefontaine - More movies about Prefontaine exist (2) than actual Olympic medals won (0). (Before his premature death at 24).
Anna Kournikova - At one time, arguably the most beautiful woman on the planet, her singles tennis record was a very mediocre 209-129. She never won a singles tournament on the WTA Tour.
I said what I needed to say, but didn't have an image to promote the article. I was going to use a photo of Anna Kournikova, but, shockingly, there's a ton of getty images, not many "free" images. So I simply entered the term SPORTS in the AI Image Generator:
You think my article has a nasty tone? Jake Paul's abomination of a list made the sports news cycle and had over a million views between television and print.
A million people consumed garbage. You say that happens every day?
