As a Libertarian-leaning publication, we would be remiss not to point this out:
Former Libertarian Presidential Candidate John McAfee "killed himself" in a Spanish Prison this week.
From McAfee's own Twitter Feed:
"Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: 'We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself.' I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm." - November 30, 2019
"In a democracy, power is given not taken. But it is still power. Love, compassion, caring have no use for it. But it is fuel for greed, hostility, jealousy... All power corrupts. Take care which powers you allow a democracy to wield." June 18, 2021
McAfee's last tweet was a re-tweet of a Father's Day message on June 20, 2021.
John McAfee was a complicated man, and I'd be negligent if I didn't mention that McAfee was also a suspect in the death of Gregory Faull in Belize in 2012.
The Faull Case even attracted the attention of the Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow, who called McAfee "extremely paranoid, even bonkers."
The rest of McAfee's story is very easily found on the internet, but just hours ago, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, the Spanish Government stated that his death "was likely a suicide."
Despite facing extradition to America, for some reason I find that hard to believe.
