Here We Go With The Fake Draft Claims Again

On March 3, 2023, according to Fact-Checker Politifact: "Later in the speech, Marjorie Taylor Greene added, “I will look at a camera and directly tell Zelenskyy, ‘You better leave your hands off of our sons and daughters, because they’re not dying over there.’”
Why did Politifact have to fact-check Greene? Because the leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, never asked for troops, he asked for a mountain of money.
Now if you're opposed to sending foreign aide to Ukraine, that is more than a fair position. But Zelensky, clearly and unequivocally, asked for a ton of cash, not troops.
But Greene's subtext was that you should vote for Donald Trump in 2024, he is against all foreign wars and had been openly combative with Zelensky.

Earlier this year, despite being out of office, Greene slammed all politicians who "fail to rule out the draft."
Over at the USA Today this earlier this week:
"As the U.S. war against Iran edges past 150 days, a controversial former ally of President Donald Trump is calling for his removal from office and warning of an impending draft."
That former ally? Alex Jones.
Listen closely.
There isn't going to be a draft. If this Republican President, or the next one, tries to install a draft, you are going to see massive unrest that makes the George Floyd Riots look like a Church Service. Cities will burn and the Left will mobilize shore to shore faster than you can blink. They already have a rioting infrastructure. The "No Kings" rallies are nothing more than glorified networking opportunities, that next set of riots will be real clashes in the streets in nearly every metropolitan area.
Canadians will take to the airwaves, begging, "No More Whites" when Americans flood into their country looking for asylum. Mexico will threaten to build their own wall.
Now if America was invaded, actual boots on the ground on American Soil, there would be a draft. Not only would there be a draft, but there would be a conscription.
Your parents got money in the bank? I wouldn't worry about an American Conscription. You're poor? Ask yourself how poor Russian Men are fairing today.
What if Iran was able to pull off a 9-11 Level Strike? Ahhh.....
Did we institute a draft for the Iraq "War?"
Any draft for these foreign wars would be a public relations disaster. None of these "not my president" kids are showing up to fight in Iran.
As a matter of fact, America doesn't really like "real war" at all. America just likes to bomb the shit out of people.
Why isn't Israel in Iran right now? Israel doesn't treat their troops like fodder. They simply like to bomb things, just like us.
Editor's Note: A reminder, all the quotation marks above are because the last time America actually declared war on someone was in 1942, when the United States declared war on minor Axis nations Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania.
But you are going to hear the Draft refrain for the next 2 years. Supposedly, Donald Trump won't rule anything out when it comes to military options.
And the Left keeps beating the drum that everyone Right of Center are Nazis, frothing at the mouth, ready to start World War III.
In 2016, I was scared that Donald Trump would start World War III, not on purpose, but accidentally, due to his clumsy foreign policy. In 2026? I think the United States, Russia, and Iran are all closer to collapsing in on themselves than taking over any other countries.
You are looking at me with a stern gaze: "How can you be so sure?"
From the Military Officers Association of America: "When considering all disqualifying criteria combined—including weight, medical health, mental health, drug use, and aptitude test scores—the Department of Defense estimates that 77% of young Americans aged 17–24 cannot qualify for service without a special waiver."
And that doesn't include the 23% of able bodied young people, some of whom aren't worried about America at all, just about how they're going to get paid.
When I was a kid, I still vividly remember seeing documentaries about hippies burning their draft cards.
When I tried entering the term BURNING YOUR DRAFT CARD in the AI generator, I got about 20 images that looked like this.
Uh, every time I think AI is about to take over the world, it fails basic commands spectacularly.
