Anthony Fauci Personally Owes Americans, At Least, $1.5 Billion, Collectable Through his Heirs

Back in 2025, according to AI, "Juries in Connecticut and Texas ordered (Alex) Jones to pay roughly $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion in total damages after he claimed that the (Sandy Hook) tragedy that killed 20 children and six educators was staged."
We do not like Alex Jones here at Beacon of Speech, not at all. Our on-the-record opinion is that Jones is nothing more than a snake oil salesman.
When Alex Jones lost his website to the Onion, we laughed out loud. Jones losing his website to Tim Heidecker's brand of absurdist humor is high order comedy in itself.
But, deep in my heart, as the founder of a free speech website, a $1.5 billion defamation settlement seemed steep.
Alex Jones lied.
Knew he was lying.
And lied anyway to advance an abhorrent agenda.
BUT....
Alex Jones didn't kill anyone.
Adam Lanza killed those kids and his Mom was found negligent in the incident in a court of law. She paid the ultimate price for her mistakes, but the monetary settlement from her insurance policy that went to the families was for $1.5 MILLION.
So, for all intensive purposes, the estate of the murderer paid $1.5 million.
And, Alex Jones, for saying some very, very bad words, is on the hook for $1.5 billion.

Back on January 25, 2020, we were freaking out. There was an emerging virus in China that was killing with a 2-3% mortality rate. As Covid broke loose from China, initial reports held the 3% mortality rate. When Covid washed across Italy, initial reports were it was killing its older population at a 6% clip
At one point in February of 2020, China was building Covid specific hospitals as fast as they could.
We sounded the alarm that 2-3% might not sound like a lot, but that's millions of dead Americans using basic math. We initially were for short term lockdowns, but soured on them as soon as lockdowns were for you and me, but not for the George Floyd protestors.
By the time Alex Jones took to the streets and demanded that America open back up for business, it was very clear that Covid Rules were a mess. Somehow the Left had Free Speech, but the Right did not.
And, again, I cannot stress this enough. I live in Cleveland, Ohio, I did not have secret contacts in China, I did not have internal data from the CDC or the FBI. I write this blog (mostly) from my couch. My angle, from the start, was "why is China jailing citizen-reporters if Covid isn't a big deal?"
But after the first 2 waves of Covid washed across America, the numbers were telling a very different story than what Anthony Fauci was presenting.
Most importantly, no kids were dying. Like, zero. I work in a suburban school district and not one student died of Covid. The death rate for students across the nation was miniscule.
You know who did die? A ton of fat seniors. I wish I had the citation, but I saw somewhere that the mortality rate for overweight, 85 year old+ seniors with Covid was over 10%.
Uh, there's not a lot of people in that demographic. Almost everyone who died of Covid in our community was from the local nursing home.
Now that we have 5+ years of Covid data.

3% Mortality rate estimate when Covid hit American Shores
1.2% Covid Mortality rate according to Wikipedia (based on positive tests vs deaths).
.4% Covid Mortality rate according to Beacon of Speech (based on deaths vs. population).
.02% Mortality rate of a virulent flu season (based on deaths vs population).
When Covid was at its worst, we worried that it could become MORE virulent. But people in the American Government knew it was becoming LESS virulent with each variant.
And, it appears that, almost from the beginning, the "Wet Market" theory was a straight up lie. The Wuhan Lab was almost certainly the source with the Wet Market simply being a possible amplifier. But here's the kicker, as we at Beacon of Speech beat the drum in May of 2020 that "China Lied," what we didn't know was that the Wuhan Lab was funded, in part, by America. Fauci knew what was going on in the Hubei Province.
When the virus made the jailbreak, the Chinese were hiding the fact that they were in bed with the Americans, while the Americans were hiding that they were in bed with the Chinese. That was the secret.
I have been reading "jail Fauci" posts since the summer of 2020 from Libertarian Websites. I just ASSUMED that Fauci had internal documents that I wasn't privy to.
But after reading through the Fauci Diaries, that guy was obsessed with fame and straight up lied to the American people on multiple occasions.
Anthony Fauci lied.
Knew he was lying.
And lied anyway to advance an agenda.
You say Alex Jones is right about a lot of things? No. No he's not.
But in this particular instance, it appears that Alex Jones was more right about Covid than Anthony Fauci.
In any war, mistakes are made. Not because of bad intent or evil, but because those fighting in the war didn't have all the information they needed to make the correct decisions.
In reference to Covid, it was a life and death situation. Projecting Death Tolls is a cold, cold business, but hospitals do it everyday. Covid was 20 times more virulent than the flu and put a massive strain on the health care system, but it appears that the information Fauci had did not match with what he was telling the public.
At the end of the day, though, Jones' Sandy Hook Take was crass and in bad taste.
Fauci lied, and people died.
What's the price tag for that?
Anthony Fauci is 85 years old. Let's just say he is guilty of a coverup, I don't want him to go to jail, Fauci has lived his life and jail wouldn't be much unlike the nursing home he'll be in a few years down the road from now.
Since we are going to hold people's feet to the fire for lying while knowing the truth, I want Fauci to spend the rest of his days in court, explaining how his lies were different than Alex Jones'. Then I want a $1.5 billion judgement against Fauci, that will cripple his ability to get into that nice nursing home. You know what? Tack his heirs on that lawsuit too, so government officials know that there's a punitive cost for lying.
Remember, Alex Jones was not a billionaire. That verdict WIPED HIM OUT. I cannot get past that the Jones' Defamation Case penalty was 7 times more than any other defamation case in the history of the American Court system.
As a matter of fact, maybe we should hold ALL government officials up to the standards of Alex Jones if they knowingly lie---

In a $1.5 billion settlement split across 300,000,00 Americans, that means you and I get, about, $5 each.
I don't want that money, I want my hearing back.
For hardcore Libertarians that whined "I wore a mask for nothing." One million American deaths wasn't nothing.
Don't forget that.
But then the question becomes: Did Anthony Fauci knowingly defame Covid Truthers?
Ahhhhh, maybe Alex Jones will get that money back after all.
