The Walking Contradiction of M. Gessen, They/Them

Last month, M. Gessen won the Pulitzer for Opinion and I was steamed. Yet again I had lost to an entity pushing an agenda instead of someone who had "outwritten" me.
But deep down, I'm really insecure. Even though my best 7 articles were better that Gessen's, maybe, just maybe, they are a great writer and I just suck.
So I went on over to Muck Rack to read some of their articles AFTER their last Pulitzer winning piece on November 7, 2025: The Ruling About Passports Isn't About ID: It's About Social Control
Then I ran into M Gessen's article on February 6, 2026 titled State Terror:
"Posle tri nedelje brutalnosti u Mineapolisu, više nije dovoljno reći da Trampova administracija upravlja ovom zemljom. Ona želi da svi živimo u neprekidnom strahu od nasilja, od koga će neki možda biti pošteđeni, ali od koga niko nije zaista bezbedan. To je naša realnost. Državni teror je tu."
Hmmm, I try to pride myself on knowing major American News Outlets, not familiar with Pescanik.
So Gessen is multilingual you say? Well that DEFINATELY makes them smarter than me.
Here's the translation: "After three weeks of brutality in Minneapolis, it is no longer enough to say that the Trump administration is running this country. It wants us all to live in constant fear of violence, from which some may be spared, but from which no one is truly safe. That is our reality. State terror is here."
Very impressive, but technicalities first.
According to AI: "The Pulitzer Prizes are prestigious annual awards administered by Columbia University in New York City that recognize outstanding achievements in American journalism, literature, drama, and music. Technically Gessen is an immigrant. Why is that important?
The article that won Gessen the Pulitzer was about the non-existent Trans Genocide.
The article from February that was heavily cited was about Fascist America.....
That's it. We have been crystal clear about this from the beginning. Donald Trump is a self-centered narcissist that currently teeters between idiocy and dementia. The last thing he is, is 1930's Hitler.
If my own Father said "hey Fred, we should invade Greenland. I would have put him in a nursing home."
So this is what I want moving forward. There are only 2 options:
I want Donald Trump to arrest Gessen, make sure he roughs them up real good in the process. Padlock the doors of the New York Times, evacuate the building, then take wrecking balls and bulldozers to the Old Gray Lady. Put Gessen in the same maximum security prison cell as Ted Kaczynski, don't even bother to clean the blood stains off the walls. PROVE GESSEN RIGHT THAT TRUMP IS A REAL FASCIST..... -or-
According to AI:"Gessen is currently active in the United States and serves as a Distinguished Professor at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, as well as a Distinguished Visiting Writer at Bard College. How did Gessen rise up to win a Pulitzer in the Racist/Fascist USA while gravitating to the very top of their profession? I want them to publicly THANK the United States for recognizing and their embracing their alternate lifestyle. For God's Sake, I had to re-learn the rules of pronouns taught to me in the 5th Grade just to write this paragraph. I WANT GESSEN TO WAVE AN AMERICAN FLAG IN GRATITUDE OF THEIR AWARD
You are an immigrant and CHOSE to work in Fascist America? That is a walking contradiction. The Pulitzer Board is simply one of the last gatekeepers of the Global Left. That's why Gessen, who jets back and forth across the Atlantic, won an award from the same team of far-leftist groupthink. Which again delineates what I said in my losing article The New American Crusades: "There is a difference between having Free Speech and being a Gay Utopia, or being the New Vatican."
The Pulitzers, again, awarded a prize for their style of free speech, not free speech itself.
I actually feel much better now. I will NEVER win anything from the Global Left.
Side Note: What spurred this article, a month after the Pulitzers? Gessen's article yesterday:

And if you want to make Trump impotent, you vote in a bunch Democrats in the midterms. That simple.
For the 100th time, Trump exists because America is sick of woke warriors, whining about the "fascism" of America while basking in its freedoms. The left's game plan is to call everyone right-of-center Hitler until it stops working.
