Trump is Right About Nut Jobs and Trouble Makers

Listen, I'm a human being, I like to be right.
So right now I'm going to gloat.
One of my biggest pet peeves in life is when Liberals call Donald Trump a Conservative. Donald Trump is a Populist, he has been one his entire adult life. When Trump was a Democrat two decades ago, he was a Populist. When he was a Reform Party Candidate, he was a Populist.
And today, as he lit up some of the most controversial figures on the Right, I remind you that Donald Trump is a Populist.
When Donald Trump fought Liberals at every turn in 2015, many on the Right interpreted that as Conservatism. But whether you agreed with Rush Limbaugh or not, he was clearly a Conservative that sold you the concept of Conservatism in the arena of ideas. Limbaugh delineated what Conservatism was and knew that Trump didn't fit that mold, but was just happy to have an ally that openly fought the dangers of Liberalism.
So with that being said, nothing proves my angle more than what happened yesterday. Donald Trump is from the WWE Entertainment Family and, right now, he's nothing more than "Likes-To-Fight-Guy."
According to the Daily Mail:
"Trouble Makers and Nuts Jobs," as labeled by Donald Trump.
Alex Jones
Megyn Kelly
Candace Owens
Tucker Carlson
What's our opinion of each at Beacon of Speech?
Alex Jones - He is terrible. He dances right up to the very edge of the free speech line for no reason.
Megyn Kelly - We begrudgingly kind of like her.... compared to the other 3.
Candace Owens - Horrible. You want me to elaborate? Really, really horrible.
Tucker Carlson - We don't like Tucker Carlson, Tucker Carlson fans don't like us.
But here's my point. If you're simply a Trump Contrarian, like Rex Huppke at the USA Today, now do you like Alex Jones? Alex Jones didn't change, his angles remain mostly intact, Donald Trump changed.
Except for Megyn Kelly, I agree with Donald Trump's assessment of "Trouble Makers and Nut Jobs." But I more or less feel the same way about all 4 as I did a year ago.
We are a Libertarian-leaning website at Beacon of Speech, we encourage you to follow the words of figures like Ron Paul, Thomas Massie, or Justin Amash.
Editor's Note: Rand Paul? Not so much.
Just like Trump turned on Libertarians earlier in the year, he is now turning on many of the Conservatives that formed the core that helped him get elected.
But the election is over, Trump only supports those that support Trump.
Whatever that may look like.
Yesterday, Donald Trump was also right in defending Brigitte Macron.
I never understand why the President of France's Wife was a target for any reason. I shouldn't even know her name.
