The Alan Dershowitz Conundrum

I hate to admit this, but I'm not that smart. I'm really not.


I'm not great at keeping secrets, I'm not great at lying.


Why? I can't keep track of who's supposed to know what secrets, I can't keep track of who I'm lying to and for what reason. My brain resembles a very messy desk, with just reems of paper and post-it notes everywhere. It's just easier to tell the truth.


Enter Alan Dershowitz.



Let me first state that Attorney General Pam Bondi is a mental patient. When she says there's no little black book in the Jeffrey Epstein Case, she means there is no little black book like Fonzi had back in the TV series Happy Days.


But there is a (redacted) address book. We published part of it in May in 2023.

Back in the year 2020, Mother Jones' Leland Nally called all 1,571 names in Epstein's Book with differing results


Everyone knows that the book exists.


And we know who flew on Jeffrey Epstein's private jet, those names are also public record through flight records:

Then what are we doing here?


The problem is, no one is doing anything about the lists.


Courtney Love's name is in Epstein's Book, but for all we know, Epstein could have just been a huge fan of Hole and wanted to meet her. You know who does know about all the names associated with Epstein? The U.S. government. Now there's a difference between what they know and what can be proven in a court of law.



If there was only some way we could talk to Epstein's lawyer....



Wait a minute, Alan Dershowitz was Epstein's lawyer and wishes there was someone to release the suppressed files?


WHY DOESN'T DERSHOWITZ RELEASE THE FILES?


But in true Alan Dershowitz fashion, he is again muddying the waters. So Dershowitz knows what's in the original files, knows what the government knows about the files, knows who is guilty and who is innocent, and definitely knows that he, himself, is innocent. He would love to tell us, the general public, more of what's in the files, but the Epstein's Estate doesn't allow it.


The Epstein's Estate? Epstein didn't have any children or a wife. At his death, he put most of his money in a trust and didn't make the beneficiaries public. Dershowitz's interpretation of the law is that lawyer/client privilege doesn't end in death, but remains through time in perpetuity. If Dershowitz REALLY wanted to release the information, he could petition the nameless Epstein Estate, who we (the public) aren't even allowed to know exists. Who exactly is not allowing Dershowitz to release the information. Well, he can't tell you that either.


So Dershowitz is in the media proclaiming that the Epstein Files are bad, but the living person who knows the most about them, Dershowitz himself, can't do anything about it?


How exactly does Dershowitz keep track of what he knows, "doesn't know," is supposed to know, is legally bound to know, and what he can tell you?


The Epstein Files are a snapshot of why people hate lawyers....




It is time for all you rioters out there to put up or shut up.


If you really, really think Donald Trump is the devil, take to the streets and demand the release of all the files.


Every few weeks, there's a new Anti-Trump Rally anyways, next week's is the Good Trouble Lives On Rally. The goal of these rallies? Whine more that Trump sucks.


But the Epstein Files are real, if all of the files were released, it would significantly damage Trump. How do I figure? Mar-a-Lago is ground zero for the scandal, it's where Virginia Giuffre was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell, that fact is irrefutable. Even if Donald Trump was 100% innocent, he would be collateral damage.


But I've been asking for the last decade now, if y'all hated Donald Trump so much, why wouldn't you sacrifice your own party and philosophical leaders to get him? You know who is ankle deep in those files? Clinton Democrats.


But the political landscape is quickly shifting under the feet of Americans:

  • Socialists Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are convinced that they are the future of the Democratic Party. They are now more than willing to throw Democrat stalwarts overboard their sinking ship as scapegoats. They would welcome the release of the Epstein Files, that was the "old" way Democrats did business.

  • America Party leader Elon Musk is convinced MAGA is in full revolt. Musk has seen the Epstein Files and knows that the tidal wave that would accompany the release of the documents would wipe out the strongest remnants of MAGA, namely Donald Trump.

  • And if Elon Musk doesn't get Donald Trump, many Libertarians are also waiting in the wings for political payback. I have been philosophically consistent throughout Beacon of Speech's existence, Republicans are not your friends.

  • Two months ago, Bill Gates announced he was giving away ALL of his fortune by 2045. The world yawned. Gates' allies in government will very quickly begin to disappear when the Epstein Files come out.


Don't worry Mr. Gates, I hear Alan Dershowitz is a good lawyer...


If you can afford him.



What do I think is going to happen?



When Pam Bondi said the Epstein Files were on her desk, I was convinced that they were actually going to come out. They obviously didn't.


I am 55 years old, unless a private citizen pulls a Julian Assange or Edward Snowden, I don't anticipate anyone in the Democrat or the Republican Party will release information that could kill the Democrat or Republican Party.


We'll see how smart I really am.






Addendum: 5 Hours Later


I am getting a little pushback behind the curtains, stating that it's obvious that Dershowitz can't leak the files, he lives by the laws of the land.


I would say that he twists the laws of the land to fit his whims.
